The Public Allies Program Manager works collaboratively and in a team focused environment to lead and manage the Public Allies program. The Program Manager under the direction of the Program Director to manage and implement a leadership development program for young adults (Allies) aged 18-30+, in partnership with government and non-profit agencies.

The program manager is primarily responsible for managing and coaching a team of up to 15 AmeriCorps members (Allies) to support success in their service and growth in their leadership. The program manager will assist in recruitment efforts to identify young adult leaders from diverse backgrounds to participate in Public Allies; help develop meaningful partnerships with local community organizations and government agencies in Detroit;  and actively engage in the development and delivery of our leadership training program.
