Website Christ Church Cranbrook

God has called us to live according to a fourfold vision: Meeting Jesus, Finding Joy, Sharing Beauty, and Serving Others.

Christ Church Cranbrook is a dynamic, thriving Episcopal community. Our vision is to be a place where all can explore Meeting Jesus, Finding Joy, Sharing Beauty and Serving Others.

We are looking for a candidate who is exuberant, committed to working for the good of the community , and shares our passion to create a joyful environment for all who are engaged in the work of the church and beyond.  The Institute for Advanced Pastoral Studies (IAPS) is an initiative begun by Christ Church Cranbrook in partnership with Hartford Memorial Baptist Church to gather clergy leaders in Metro Detroit to face the challenges and opportunities in congregations and communities using adaptive leadership in order to create the beloved community.
The Event Coordinator for the Institute for Advanced Pastoral Studies (IAPS) is responsible for the implementation of all the programming of IAPS, including a one-day Annual Gathering, a 3 day conference and monthly cohort meetings. This is a part-time, non-exempt (hourly) position, working approximately 15-20 hours per week, with some evening and weekend hours as dictated by the events for IAPS. This position is funded through a generous grant from the Lilly Endowment through December 31, 2024. Continued employment past that date is contingent upon additional grant funding.
