Property Manager
General Summary: MAP owns and operates 44 units of affordable housing for people with disabilities who are coming from homelessness, located at seven unique sites in Washtenaw County. This position is responsible for all operations of agency-owned affordable housing properties including rent collection, voucher management, maintenance and funder and regulatory compliance. Reports to the MAP CEO and is a member of the Housing Leadership Team.
Typical Duties:
1. Lease up for all units –eligibility documentation collection, Income certification, rent reasonableness, occupancy agreements, lease signing
2. Apartment/room turn over management- Move in, Move out
3. Managing the wait list- Affirmative Marketing, work with Community Housing Prioritization list
4. Vacancies and Evictions management
5. Tenant File Management
6. Oversight of maintenance and repair for all properties- utilizing a competitive bid process working with contractors- Warranties
7. Safety of all properties and occupants
8. Scheduling and supervision of all inspections-HQS, City Rental Inspections, other
9. Funder Compliance- FHLBI, MSHDA, AAHC, Washtenaw County
10. Orientation of new tenants- with Housing Supports staff
11. Rent collection for all units
12. Supervision of Maintenance staff and contractors
13. Grounds Upkeep and Landscaping- With Tenants
14. implementing Green building and energy efficiency strategies
15. Enhanced Management- through collaboration with Housing Supports Team, Payee Services and Maintenance on Tenant issues
16. Collaborate with subsidy voucher programs(Ann Arbor Housing Commission) for compliance and regulations
17. Lease Enforcement
18. Crisis intervention-property related
19. Documentation of all Grievances
20. Other duties as assigned by the CEO
Qualification:
Experience managing operations of affordable housing communities required.
Property management and maintenance experience required.
Good organizational skills required.
Ability to work independently is needed. Fair Housing experience is important.
Experience working with people with disabilities helpful.

Salary Range: Commensurate with experience
Status: Full time exempt

Pay: $40,000.00 – $41,000.00 per year
