We are dedicated to equipping determined young adults through life skills training, proactive coaching, long-term mentoring and the discipline of golf in order to succeed in college, in their careers and beyond.

The Midnight Golf Program (MGP) is looking for a full-time college success coach to support our students throughout their journey and transition into college.


Reporting to the Director of Student Support, the College Success Coach will be the direct point of contact for Midnight Golf Program (MGP) High School students and MGP alumni. The College Success Coach will maintain case notes, progress notes and assessments of students throughout their senior year of high school, working to ensure students are maintaining good standing  within the College Persistence Program (CPP) and on track to matriculate to a post-secondary education. The College Success Coach will continue to counsel MGP students/alumni through navigating the academic, financial, and situational complexities of post-secondary education.


  • Bachelor’s degree in education, counseling, psychology or a related field from an accredited institution of higher learning recognized by the US Department of Education OR Two years’ experience providing counseling to young adults in a higher education setting
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent verbal & written communication skills
  • Knowledgeable of the college enrollment and advancement process
  • Ability to work in a high paced and multifaceted environment

  • Provide one-on-one academic and personal coaching to current MGP students and MGP alumni
  • Create success plans to provide additional support as needed and ensure that students are hitting long term and short term goals
  • Uses a variety of tools to remain connected to students and their progress including: email, phone calls, text messaging, social media
  • Monitor and report on student success using MGP’s tracking system (GradSnapp)
  • Work closely with the MGP College Liaison to coordinate student referrals to on-campus and community resources as they begin their college journey
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings
  • Maintain effective working relationships with college resources centers, key academic staff and professors on multiple college campuses that the MGP College Liaison has established
  • Track and enter student data and target goal progress (MGP Tracking System)
  • Work with CPP Team to plan, lead and attend events geared toward preparing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to be successful in the college going process
