The Arc of Northwest Wayne County
Building inclusive communities through advocacy, support, and information.
About The Arc of Northwest Wayne County
For over 60 years, The Arc of NW Wayne County has provided advocacy and support for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) of all ages. We envision the highest quality of life for all people. Inclusion and participation in the community are essential to the well being of every person. With assistance and support, people with IDD will be contributing and valued members of society. To that end, The Arc NW provides advocacy support to individuals and families in school systems and in the mental health system. The Arc NW boasts the only play and toy lending library of it’s kind in the state. We are also a financial management service assisting with household budgets and payroll for staff working for individuals with IDD in the community. Dedicated volunteers run our popular social and athletic programs. The Arc NW works to ensure people with IDD live self-determined lives.
