” To  Support Homeless Families and their children as they build a better Future” is the mission of IHN at Alpha House.   Our vision is : 100% of our families are successful .

We provide emergency shelter for families (6 at a time) and are providers of Rapid Rehousing for families (usually 30+at a time) We utilize all of our resources and those of our community to help our families, without judgement, or discrimination.  We are the only congregate shelter in Washtenaw County for families.  Our team always works together to find solutions using resources or by thinking outside the box.
