CEDAM (Community Economic Development Association of Michigan)
CEDAM supports its diverse membership to create vibrant, sustainable, and resilient communities. We enhance locally-driven community economic development efforts through training and resources, technical assistance, capacity building, and policy advocacy.
About CEDAM (Community Economic Development Association of Michigan)
At the heart of our mission is our members — small grassroots organizations, cities, affordable housing developers, and more — who we have supported in building strong, inclusive communities for more than 20 years. Joining CEDAM’s team means you’ll work with passionate advocates and leaders helping to strengthen Michigan’s communities.
In our open office housing 10 full-time employees and three interns, plus 20 AmeriCorps members placed at member organizations and ten fellows working in cities across the state, no day looks the same. The large island in the center of our space is host to impromptu meetings, healthy snacks, and on the occasion, pancake breakfasts! Mondays and Fridays are designated for “bring your dog to work day”. Member visits, legislative luncheons, and CEDAM trainings take us to different communities across the state throughout the year.
We take pride in a culture that encourages collaboration, work-life balance, and growth.
